The Attorney General's Office for the western Mexican state of Jalisco has called on the nation's top cop to investigate claims that Mexico City's security chief Omar García Harfuch reportedly aligned himself with the late leader of a cartel to take down the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.
The shocking allegations were made by Carlos 'El Cholo' Sánchez, the former leader of the New Plaza Cartel, in a video that was uploaded on social media by the rival Jalisco New Generation Cartel on Thursday morning.
